Join us for our 2018 Gala: A CULTURE OF CARING GALA on April 5 in support of whole health care and affordable housing in Portland.
The Gala is Cascadia's signature annual benefit in support the new Garlington Health Center – a whole health care clinic with onsite mental health and addiction services, primary care and wellness programs - to serve community members of all ages. The Center is due to open late summer 2018 and will anchor an innovative community-centered campus in NE Portland. The campus will also be home to Garlington Place, a 52-unit apartment building to address our community’s need for safe, affordable housing.
Our event will also present the Culture of Caring Awards for three extraordinary community members for their contributions in building community through the arts, health, wellness and civic engagement. Our 2018 Culture of Caring Honorees are Kay Toran, Reverend Dr. T. Allen Bethel and Darrell Grant.
The evening will also feature music performances and art from Aurora Chorus Outreach Ensemble, Metropolitan Youth Symphony, and unveil works for the new Garlington Health Center by artists Arvie Smith and Jeremy Okai Davis. Additional artists with works on view that support our programs and goals around community building, whole health, healing and wellness are Meghan Caughey, Hilary Pfeifer and Jo Lundberg.
We are pleased to host our 2nd Annual Gala at the Peter Corvallis Productions Warehouse and recognize their generosity in opening their private venue to welcome Cascadia's community of supporters.
Please join us on April 5th and experience A CULTURE OF CARING!
